aartsHubert Aarts is the Managing Director of Listed Equities at Impax Asset Management and leads Impax's macro-economic research process. Hubert joined Impax in January 2007 and co-manages the Leaders and Water Strategies.
He started his career in the investment industry in 1990. He has extensive experience investing in Pan-European equities as a portfolio manager at MeesPierson and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he chaired the European Sector Strategy Group.
He joined Impax from Cambrian Capital Partners LLP where he was a partner and portfolio manager of the Curalium fund, and Incremental Leveraged hedge funds. Hubert has a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Maastricht University.

Manuel Adamini is head of ESG-research at SNS Asset Management building the Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) research department from three to eight staff; turning from bulk to in-depth research, including company engagement at senior management / Board level through international partnerships.
Before SNS Manuel worked at Fortis as Manager Corporate Social Responsibility initiating and implementing a cross-business climate change strategy that renders Fortis carbon dioxide neutral on a global scope.

Barend van Bergen is partner and global head sustainability advisory at KPMG.
With over 18 years experience advising companies in climate change and sustainability, he is the author of a range of publications on the topic.
He actively participates in industry dialogue, where he acts as an external liaison for KPMG. He has worked in a wide range of sectors across Europe, Russia, Middle East, Japan, South Korea and America.
He has an engineering degree in Technical Business Administration from Eindhoven University.

Giorah Bour is Portfolio Manager Fixed Income at Syntrus Achmea Vermogensbeheer, where he develloped and currently manages the EMD ESG portfolio. He also co-manages all the internally managed government bond portfolios currently offered by Syntrus Achmea. One of Syntrus Achmeas core beliefs is environmental and social governance and Syntrus Achmea has committed itself to this belief in various ways.
Giorah joined Syntrus Achmea in 2011, after working at the fixed income department at APG. Before switching to fixed income he co-managed the equity portfolios at Cordares Asset management, were he first came in contact with responsible investments. Prior to that he gained extensive experience in risk management and overlay strategies for institutional clients in several different roles.
Giorah holds a PhD in physics from the RWTH Aachen,where he also obtained his master's degree and is a CFA charterholder and volunteer for the CFA Society in the Netherlands.

SimonBraaksma started his career in 1990 at Citibank where he held various management positions. Next, in 1998, he transitioned to the client side and joined Philips at Corporate Treasury where he worked on various global projects.
Next, Simon joined a large finance transformation program and subsequently moved to Corporate Control where he was engaged with the consolidation of the Philips financials and various projects.
In 2008, he joined Philips' Corporate Sustainability Office (current job), responsible for the sustainability performance management and reporting activities as well as various projects.

buulOtto van Buul is a Principal at Ownership Capital, a long horizon equity manager focused on ownership investing through a fundamental financial and extra-financial investment process. Ownership Capital's investment strategy fully realizes the call by the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) and the Kay Review of UK Equity Markets for long-term engaged investing.
Previously, Otto worked at Dutch investment manager PGGM, where he was part of the founding team of the EUR 3bn Responsible Equity Portfolio (REP), a concentrated long-term portfolio of public equities. REP was the first public equity portfolio integrating fundamental financial and ESG analysis in its entire investment process and combining this with active ownership.
Prior to this, Otto worked as investment and strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. He graduated from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands where he obtained an MSc in Economics.

Saskia van den Dool-Gietman – Senior Advisor Responsible Investment, PGGM Investments.
Saskia joined PGGM's Responsible Investment team in 2008. At PGGM she is responsible for developing various programmes to measure the (social) impact of responsible investment activities.
Furthermore, she is responsible for engagement activities focused on the mining sector and human rights issues. Saskia has a background in consultancy in the area of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility.
For PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Sustainability Solutions Saskia worked in London, Amsterdam and Buenos Aires to advise multinational corporations and (non) governmental organisations, focusing on projects related to stakeholder engagement en corporate sustainability reporting. Saskia holds an MSc in Policy and Organisation Studies.

Julia Kochetygova, Senior Director S&P Dow Jones Indices, heads up the Russia/CIS client coverage group. Julia's duties include managing relations with the Moscow Exchange and designing the methodology for the global S&P ESG index.
Prior to joining S&P Dow Jones Indices, Julia worked for the Russian MDM Bank in the corporate and investment block, where she developed their business strategy, and before that was a head of corporate relations at the same bank. Prior to working at MDM Bank, Julia was a director of corporate governance services at S&P Ratings, where she was responsible for analytical supervision and business development of this new analytical service.
Julia holds a PhD in economics from The Russian Academy of Sciences and a master's degree in economics from Plekhanov State Institute of National Economy in Moscow; also graduated from the World Bank School of Market Economy.

Nadia Laine, Head of Client Services (Europe); Nadia joined EIRIS in September 2004 and is responsible for providing support to the company's growing European client base, as well as overseeing new business development and marketing.
She has participated in and presented at numerous conferences on responsible investment and taught at SKEMA Business School in Nice (formerly known as CERAM).
Nadia holds a BA in European Studies from the University of Leeds, a MSc in Comparative Politics (Nationalism & Ethnicity) from the London School of Economics, and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from the CFA Society of the UK.
Prior to joining EIRIS, Nadia worked as an analyst for the Corporate Executive Board, a best practice research and executive education firm.


Karen Maas holds a PhD in Economics (Corporate Social Performance: from output measurement to impact measurement). She worked for 12 years as a (senior) consultant and project leader in the field of environmental economics, sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. Since September 2009 she is assistant professor at the Erasmus School of Economics. Karen conducts research in the field of Impact measurement, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Strategic Philanthropy. Karen worked with several organizations to measure their social impact (e.g. Corio, Dutch Heart Foundation, PGGM, KPN, FRES, CBI, PUM).
Karen is Scientific Director of the executive CSR courses at the Erasmus School of Accounting & Assurance. She is member of the advisory board of "De Groene Zaak" and is a member of the board of the Erasmus Education Fund.

Lara Muller is Corio's Head of CSR since 2010. She is advisor to the management board of Corio in terms of CSR strategy, responsible for CSR reporting and facilitates the implementation of the CSR program in the 6 local business units. She is driving a research program in partnership with Erasmus University of Rotterdam to develop a methodology to measure and ultimately manage the creation of Social return on Investment of Corio's core activities. Lara represents Corio at the International Sustainability Alliance, of which Corio is a founding member, and at the GRI, as Corio is an organizational stakeholder. Lara is teaching CSR courses at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate.
Prior to this, Lara was a strategic consultant and subsequently a manager at an international consulting firm where she worked with international clients in the real estate and financial sector. She studied Law and Philosophy at the University of Leiden and did a master in Philosophy of Law.

Martijn Rozemuller holds a Master Degree in Business Studies from the Technische Universiteit Twente. He has been active in the financial industry since 1995 when he started as an arbitrage trader with leading Dutch Market Maker Optiver.
After leaving Optiver he founded ThinkCapital, the first Dutch ETF issuer, in 2008. Martijn has an in-depth knowledge of ETF's and in his role as managing director at ThinkCapital he deals with every aspect of the development in the ETF industry.
Martijn is always looking for new and innovative indices and is pro-actively working together with index providers such as Markit to initiate new indices.
Screening a universe not only based on parameters such as market cap or region, but also on sustainable criteria is a possible new opportunity that he has been working on and that will be made available in the form of a new Think Tracker.

Teresa Salema has been head of corporate sustainability at Portugal Telecom since 2005 and a member of the PT´s Sustainability Committee. She is member of the executive secretary at BCSD, Board Council for Sustainable Development, Portugal since 2010.
She has more than 20 years of experience in telecom sector, working in different markets and segments and companies, namely in Companhia Portuguesa Rádio Marconi, PT comunicações and PT SGPS. She has been responsible for account management, service management, product development, project management, customer service, market management, marketing and corporate image working with corporate clients, SMEs, and residential segments.
She holds telecommunications and electronic degree from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisboa and a Master in Business Administration from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She has also a pos graduation in Telecommunication Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
She was an invited professor for Telecom Systems at Universidade Católica Portuguesa for 8 years (2003-2011).


Leonie Schreve (Director – Head Sustainable Lending) has started a new team in 2012 within ING Commercial Banking to drive and promote Sustainable Business opportunities within the mainstream lending portfolio.
eonie is also acting as Chair of the Equator Principles Steering Committee, liaises with NGOs, international governmental organisations, and clients to improve the level playing field and to steer sustainable innovation. Previously Leonie introduced Environmental and Social Risk and set up a dedicated team within ING. She has been instrumental in setting international financial sector standards.
Leonie has over 10 yrs experience with Sustainability though her work as Management Consultant in which she worked with various multinationals, as independent consultant in Costa Rica, and through setting up the ESR and Sustainable Lending team within ING.
Leonie holds a Master in Environmental Science, Business Ethics and International Sports Management.

Bart aan den Toorn heads the credit team and is co-head of the fixed income team at SNS Asset Management.
Bart started his career at F. van Lanschot Bankiers AM as PM Fixed income.
After 3 years he went to Interpolis where he was responsible as PM for Fixed Income Credits.
Before ending up at SNS he was also senior portfolio manager Fixed Income Credits at ING Investment Management.
